My entry for the Fantasy Earth Zero COntest.

I started out really enthusiastic about it....but then all the great artists put up their entries...and I am left to cry as I see my chances of winning vanish into the distance. T_T Ah well, it was nice to work on something so detailed for a change. xD

Her name is Lieria. She comes from a tribe in the heart of the desert that had hitherto kept out of the wars of the main world. They have a very spiritual culture and tend to bond with the spirits of the elements that live in the desert. Their reputation for being great scouts means that many people from the main world hire them as spies and assassins. Lieria has shown a bond with fire ever since she was little so she prepared herself to be bonded to a phoenix. It turned out though, when she was of age and had learned to really see; her bond spirit was actually a koi fish. xD The fish's name is K'al. He bullies Lieria a lot. :'|
